Girl stuff!

I love to watch my girls play together.

Is this shot classic, or what? Look at those puckered lips!

Growing up!

Showing off the necklace she made at school! She recently announced that she won't be needing her pacifier or dolly for school anymore and that she has decided not to cry anymore when I drop her off, but to go to school with a big smile! Isn't she beautiful? (And we have so much fun with her hair!)

Tennis baby

So Alex decided to take up tennis just like his Papa. He started back in September.

Instead of just dropping him off, we always go and watch him. The girls have a fun time just doing whatever....

Playing has become a challenge since the weather has gotten colder, but as long as it's dry outside, they're out on the courts to play.

And Alex has been a real trooper although he is anxious to see himself progress faster! And would love to already be able to play as well as his Papa.

This photo was taken a few weeks later in freezing temperatures! Poor Alex was miserable after an hour and a half tournament!

My little star

Elena and her friend Maya (to the right of Elena) just moments before going onstage.... Stage fright? She actually told me earlier that her favorite part of dance class is going on stage!
They performed at the local Telethon, which is a nationwide annual event to raise funds for handicapped and terminally ill children.
They were adorable!

I love this photo of Alex and Hugo. They are best buddies!

Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree... 2009

Gabriela rested....

....or played

Sam spoke on the phone with his sister Valérie....

Alex played with his balloon....

....and wrapped a gift for his best friend Hugo's birthday....

....and even posed for a picture by the Christmas tree!

Elenita and I decorated....

And Mama was one happy girl to ring in the Christmas season with her little family gathered around her, even if each one participated in his own special way.
Merry Christmas!

Christmas Cheer

Carol of the Bells

Hark! how the bells
Sweet silver bells
All seem to say,
"Throw cares away."
Christmas is here
Bringing good cheer
To young and old
Meek and the bold
Ding, dong, ding, dong
That is their song
With joyful ring
All caroling
One seems to hear
Words of good cheer
From ev'rywhere
Filling the air
Oh how they pound,
Raising the sound,
O'er hill and dale,
Telling their tale,
Gaily they ring
While people sing
Songs of good cheer
Christmas is here
Merry, merry, merry, merry Christmas
Merry, merry, merry, merry Christmas
On, on they send
On without end
Their joyful tone
To ev'ry home
