The Botanical Gardens in Paris - Le jardin des serres d'Auteuil

When in the Paris area and the sun shines, you don't waste time. You get outdoors and enjoy it while it lasts because you never know what tomorrow will bring! Isn't that how life is, though?

We had an awesome weekend!
At one of the botanical gardens in Paris...
Here are some of the photos for your viewing pleasure!

...enjoying the loveliness of a magnolia tree and her pretty blossoms with my girls...

Inside one of the many greenhouses...
...it was a tropical wonder...
All the other greenhouses were closed already....
...next time we'll get there earlier in the day since the greenhouses (not the gardens) close at 5.

A giant birdhouse...
...the chirping of the birds only added to the tropical ambiance...
...by the way, we were sweating in here...

A haven of bright tulips!
Peek-a-boo!

Silly as a daisy!

Rest stop under a cherry blossom tree.
There you see us, there you don't.

This pretty pixie keeps us on our toes.
She's as impish as she is beautiful - on the inside and out!

Our three wonders.
Our three beauties.
Our three masterpieces.

Alex and Elena spinning themselves dizzy.......

And our family outing ended with a drive through the city....
...just so we could see the Eiffel tower....
...one more time...
....and just because Gabriela requested it....
....you should've seen her face....
priceless
On a side note: I told Sam that now that the kids are older and we don't have to deal with bottles and diapers and strollers and naps, he really needs to show me Paris. Here we've been for more than 5 years and I feel like I don't know Paris and thus we have begun the adventure of discovering the city of lights....
