Yesterday was almost warm outside and the inside of the pool facility felt like a sauna. When I finished nursing Rémy the crook of my arm and his little head were both dripping with sweat.
Then we waited and waited for the two hour competition to end. At about 3:30 p.m. a brilliant sun showed her face, and I took Rémy and my girls out to bask in the crisp winter air, warmed to perfection by rays of sunshine that have been almost non-existent since the beginning of winter. A perfect recipe for happiness as I watched my girls run to and fro!
As we waited for the end of Alex's swim competition, we soaked up every bit of sunshine we could. And there sitting atop a hill, behind the swim facility and beyond the winter barren trees, sat the Château de la Madeleine, perched in all her glory. Living in the Vallée de Chevreuse definitely has its perks! Now you can only imagine my happiness at being able to use not only my camera but my fancy zoom lens. I was feeling like all that and more, switching lenses and trying to get artsy shots while this castle in ruins was momentaneously graced by a brilliant blue sky!
And with that, please check back tomorrow!
I've got a fun Parisian giveaway just for you!
