Out with the old, in with the new: Happy 2013

Embracing the new year has come with abundant joy this year! A new baby has enriched our lives. Rémy has brought a sweetness and an added dynamism to our home and family and we wonder how we ever got along without him! And then I can't deny that my new camera has turned my world upside down! I am still floating on my cloud of pure bliss and am having the time of my life taking pictures!

And so out with the old, in with the new!

As we purge our house from top to bottom this week, getting rid of clutter, we are creating an airier space, ready for a new year to be lived.

As we prepare to celebrate my 40th birthday, I say good-bye to a portion of my youth and welcome in an exciting new era and a year full of adventures, guaranteed!

As I embrace the sweetness of being a mommy all over again and one last time, we have redefined our family to what it is today. And I love it! And I love my family!

And finally, as I clasp my new camera with novice hands and eager eyes in the company of my best friend and husband who has joined me on this journey, we welcome bright horizons of capturing and preserving the beauty in our world.

This brand new year feels as pure and sweet as our tiny Rémy in his pristine white baby blessing outfit.
