Chipotle. 18-20 Boulevard Montmartre in Paris.
That's where our taste buds got their Mexican fix this past week. We are huge fans of Mexican grills and definitely miss that from the United States. So we'd been wanting to go to Chipotle ever since it opened about a year ago, and our trip into Paris for passports was the perfect chance.
A walk in Paris.
Paying for our tacos and burritos. Ouch! True, it's expensive when we remember what we used to pay in the States, but hey guys, it's Paris!
Burritos 9€ (about $12).
A generous helping of Guacamole per burrito/taco 1.50€ (about $2).

Tacos 3€ (about $4).
We ordered 2 tacos each for our kids, but one would have been enough.

Soda cans are 2€ each (about $2.50). No free refills.
Tortilla chips are extra.
For those of you live in the States, how do the prices compare?
Alex braving the Tabasco sauce as Elena observes.
Elena going in for the big kill.
Gabriela's delicate manners as she devours her taco.
And my almost gone burro!
Sorry folks! I was too busy thoroughly enjoying my Mexican grill lunch to take more photos! My heart and belly were singing happy songs. Chipotle, I love you!
Have a happy weekend, amigos!
Love,

Oh wow, I never would've guessed there'd be Mexican food in Paris! We moved from So Cal to Florida last year and the wonderful So Cal Mexican food is what I miss the most...it's just not as good here in FL:(
ReplyDeleteThere's lots of tex-mex in France, but we waited a long time for a real Mexican grill! And then California Mexican food is a whole 'nother story! Yum!
